Aviation Westland Gazelle AH1 Model
This is a 1/72 scale die-cast model of the Westland Gazelle AH1 helicopter, representing the aircraft flown by the Royal Marines during the Falklands War in 1982. The model is detailed with accurate markings for ZA730/F, assigned to 3CBAS (Commando Brigade Air Squadron). It’s a faithful recreation of a significant aircraft type used in a pivotal historical conflict.
Condition and Collectibility
This model appears to be in good condition, suitable for display by collectors of military aviation memorabilia or those interested in the Falklands War. While the model’s exact history is unknown, it presents a detailed representation of a historically important helicopter. It would be a valuable addition to any collection focused on British military aircraft or the Falklands conflict.
