## Bank of England One Pound Notes
This lot comprises three Bank of England one pound notes, each bearing the signature of L K O’Brien. These notes were issued between 1955 and 1962, representing a period of post-war British currency. The design features a portrait of the Duke of Wellington on the front and various allegorical figures on the reverse, typical of the series.

## Condition and Collectibility
These notes exhibit signs of age and circulation, with some creasing and minor wear commensurate with their age. Despite this, they remain reasonably well-preserved examples of vintage British currency. They are of interest to collectors of banknotes, particularly those specialising in British numismatics, and offer a glimpse into the history of British finance.
