Offered here is a Baofeng BF-888S UHF two-way radio, sold as a walkie-talkie set and presented in its retail box. It is a portable handheld transceiver of the type used for short-range voice communication.
Baofeng is a manufacturer of portable two-way radios. The BF-888S is a compact handheld unit with a fitted antenna, a front speaker grille and a raised keypad on the side. The packaging lists a number of features, including battery save, CTCSS/DCS sub-audible tone squelch, a scrambler function, a noise reduction circuit, an FM radio, a high illumination flashlight and a lithium battery offering long standby time.
Condition and Collector Interest
The item is offered in its original printed box, which shows general wear, including marks and creasing to the card, with a lot label affixed to the front. Its functionality has not been tested, and no accessories beyond those in the box are described. Buyers interested in vintage or entry-level handheld radios, or in Baofeng products generally, may wish to examine the lot in person before bidding.

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
