Nine Beatles 7″ Records
This lot comprises nine Beatles 7″ records, presented with a selection of paper sleeves and a Magical Mystery Tour sleeve. Several of the discs carry black Parlophone labels with the 45 RPM marking, including Strawberry Fields Forever (R 5570) and Day Tripper (R 5309), while the Hey Jude single (R 5722) bears the green Apple label and is housed in a Fontana sleeve. Further titles visible on the labels include I Want to Hold Your Hand and Yellow Submarine. The 7″ format and the Parlophone and Apple label designs make this a characterful group for collectors of the band’s singles.
Condition and Collectability
The records are presented as a group, with the discs and sleeves displaying the wear expected of items of this age. The individual condition of each record has not been fully assessed, and the sleeves and labels should be inspected by prospective buyers before bidding. The mixture of Parlophone and Apple pressings, along with the Fontana sleeve and the Magical Mystery Tour sleeve, offers variety within a single lot, which may appeal to collectors building a representative run of the group’s singles or seeking material associated with the Beatles’ recording history.
