Vintage Blue and White Meat Plate
This is a vintage blue and white meat plate, featuring a traditional oriental pattern. The plate is crafted from china and displays a detailed landscape scene with pagodas, figures, and foliage. This style of transferware was popular for serving larger cuts of meat, and this piece would have been a central feature on a dining table.
Condition and Collectibility
The plate shows signs of age and use, with some minor wear to the glaze and possible light crazing consistent with its vintage. Despite this, the pattern remains vibrant and the plate is structurally sound. This piece would appeal to collectors of blue and white china, oriental patterns, or vintage serving ware, offering a charming and decorative addition to any collection or home.
