British 1941 Anti Gas Eye Shields
These are a set of British-made anti-gas eye shields, dated 1941. These were designed to be worn with gas masks to provide additional protection for the eyes during chemical warfare. The shields are constructed from a clear material, designed to fit securely and offer a wide field of vision while safeguarding against irritants and harmful substances.
Condition and Collectibility
The eye shields appear to be in original condition, showing signs of age and storage. While some minor wear and tear is present, consistent with their age, they remain largely intact. These shields would be a valuable addition to a collection of WWII military equipment, gas mask accessories, or historical artifacts, appealing to collectors and enthusiasts interested in the era.
