Antique Russian Caviar Spoon
This is a beautifully crafted antique spoon, likely originating from Russia around the late 19th or early 20th century (circa 1890-1900). Constructed from solid brass, the spoon features a distinctive, gently curved bowl and a twisted, rope-patterned handle. The spoon is marked with what appears to be “Galwanizac” – potentially a maker’s mark or a reference to the galvanizing process used in its creation. This spoon was likely intended for serving caviar, a delicacy popular amongst the Russian aristocracy.

The spoon exhibits signs of age and use, with a lovely patina developed over time. While there are no significant damages, the brass shows some wear consistent with its age. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
