Selection of Brass Animal Figures Including Elephant, Eagle, Dolphins and Swans

This lot comprises a varied selection of brass animal figures, led by a large elephant with its trunk raised high, mounted on an oval base. Also included are a figure of an eagle with outstretched wings, a pair of dolphins and a pair of swans. The group offers a range of forms and sizes suited to display on a sideboard, shelf or mantelpiece, or to be collected as a mixed set.

The elephant is cast in solid brass with a textured surface, its raised trunk and tusks giving the piece a dynamic pose. The eagle is modelled with spread wings and a detailed head and talons, and is supported on a slender stand. The dolphins are shaped in a smooth, streamlined style, and the swans have elegantly curved necks. The pieces share a common brass finish, which gives the lot a cohesive character as a group.

Condition and Collector Appeal

The brass shows the surface patina and handling marks one would expect from figures of this type, with some general wear commensurate with age. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
