The lamp features a square body constructed from a durable grey material, with a prominent handle for carrying and a rotating knob likely used for adjusting the light. The front is fitted with a protective cage surrounding a reflector, and the base clearly displays the “B.R.” (British Rail) logo. This style of lamp was designed for reliability and visibility in demanding conditions, providing essential illumination for railway personnel.
