British Tower Flintlock Pistol
This is a British Tower flintlock pistol, likely dating to the late 18th or early 19th century. The lockplate is clearly marked with the crown and “GR” (George Rex), indicating manufacture for the British military at the Royal Armouries in the Tower of London. The pistol features a smoothbore barrel, brass furniture including the side plate and butt cap, and a wooden stock. Markings “Tower” and “20” are visible on the pistol.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
