Set of Three Buddha Face Wall Panels
This lot comprises three rectangular wall panels, each depicting a serene Buddha face in relief. The panels appear to be cast from a resin or composite material with a bronze-effect finish, shaded in deep verdigris green and highlighted with gilt tones on the eyes, lips and brow. Each face is individually styled. The left-hand panel has heavy-lidded eyes, a broad nose and a spiral curl above the brow. The centre panel features a row of tightly coiled curls across the crown and a flame-shaped urna motif between the eyes. The right-hand panel shows a more angular, stylised face with a pronounced nose and full lips. Together they draw on the traditional iconography of Buddhist sculpture, and they would sit well as a grouped display in a hallway, meditation space or living room.
Good Overall Presentation with Age-Appropriate Wear
From the photograph, the panels present well, with the green and gilt finish largely intact and the facial detail clearly defined. Some wear is visible along the edges and rear faces, and there are minor surface marks consistent with age and handling. Nothing in the image suggests major structural damage, but the finish may show variation in tone, which is typical of this type of decorative piece. Buyers are encouraged to inspect the panels in person or request further images before bidding. The patina and gilt highlights appear to be original to the pieces, which adds to their character. Decorative sets like this one hold appeal for collectors of Asian-inspired home décor and for buyers looking for a distinctive focal point, particularly when displayed together as a trio.
