Bush AC34 Vintage 5-Valve Table Radio
This is a Bush AC34 vintage 5-valve table radio housed in a wooden cabinet with a light, warm-toned finish. The set has a perforated fabric speaker grille across the front and a horizontal tuning scale with a glass-style panel marked with station names and the MW, LW and SW wavebands. Three cream-coloured control knobs sit beneath the dial. The cabinet has softly squared corners and a simple, uncluttered outline typical of the period.
Condition and Originality
The cabinet shows scratches, light marks and general wear to the wood, most noticeably across the top and front, and there are some darker stains to the surface. The speaker grille and the three cream knobs appear to be present. Buyers should note that the radio is offered as seen and its working order has not been confirmed. Its age, original cabinet and period styling will appeal to collectors of vintage radios and to those seeking a characterful piece of mid-century British design.
