Bustins Traction Engine Voltmeter
This is a vintage voltmeter manufactured by Bustins Electrical Works, likely intended for use on a traction engine or similar industrial application. The gauge features a circular dial with a scale ranging from 0 to 150 volts, with clear markings for 90, 130 and 150. The construction appears to be robust, typical of gauges designed for demanding environments, and the face is protected by glass.
Condition and Collectibility
The gauge presents with signs consistent with age and use, showing some patina and wear to the dial and case. While the functionality is not assessed, this gauge would be of interest to collectors of vintage industrial instruments, steam engine enthusiasts, or those restoring traction engines. Its original markings and construction offer a glimpse into the engineering of the period.
