Carriage Clock Pair

This lot comprises a pair of antique carriage clocks. One is by Knight Gibbons, a well-known British clockmaker. These clocks feature brass cases, with glass panels allowing a view of the movement and dial. They are designed to be portable, with a carrying handle, and would have been used for travel or display.

Condition and Collectability

Both clocks are presented in a used condition, with signs of age and wear commensurate with their age. Collectors will be interested in the Knight Gibbons example, due to the maker’s reputation. These clocks offer a charming addition to any collection or display, and represent a piece of horological history.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
