Cast Iron Garden Log Burner
This lot is a cast iron garden log burner, offered as a freestanding outdoor fire with a traditional chiminea-style form. It is suited to garden use and is presented as a single lot.
The burner has a rounded, bulbous lower body with a mesh grille across the front opening, allowing the fire to be viewed. A tall, slender flue rises from the body and is topped with a domed cap. The lower body is fitted with a loop handle to one side, and the piece stands on raised legs. The cast iron body has a dark, textured finish with a rust-toned surface.
Condition and Collectability
The overall surface shows visible rust and general weathering consistent with outdoor use and age. The mesh grille, flue and cap are present, and no obvious missing sections are visible in the photographs, though the lot has not been tested and its working order is not confirmed. Buyers should inspect the piece in person or ask questions before bidding. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
