Cherished Teddies Wedding Party Figurines
This lot comprises a group of Cherished Teddies wedding party figurines, a range of resin bear figures in bridal and formal attire. The group includes a bride bear in a long white gown with a floral headpiece, a groom bear in a grey morning suit with a rose buttonhole, and several attendant bears. These include a bear in a pale blue dress and a small bear in a white dress and bonnet-style headwear, one holding a small teddy. Another grey-suited bear holds a small bear dressed in white. The figures are finished in soft, warm tones with hand-painted detailing on the clothing, flowers and faces, which is characteristic of the Cherished Teddies series.
Condition and Collector Interest
The figures are offered as a group, and their condition has been assessed from visible appearance only. Prospective buyers should contact the saleroom for further information on the condition of individual pieces before bidding. Cherished Teddies figures were produced in large quantities, but complete wedding party groupings with coordinated costumes are often sought after by collectors of the range, and by those assembling wedding or anniversary displays. The lot’s coordinated theme and the recognisable Enesco branding may appeal to both established collectors and new buyers.
