WW1 German Leather Belt

This is a well-preserved example of a World War I German leather belt. Constructed from thick, robust leather, it features a simple buckle and multiple holes for adjustment. The belt would have been a standard issue item for German soldiers during the First World War, used to secure trousers and equipment during trench warfare and other combat situations.

Condition & Collectibility

The belt shows signs of age and wear consistent with its period of use, including some cracking and discoloration to the leather. Despite this, the belt remains structurally sound and displays a genuine patina. This belt would be a desirable addition to a collection of WWI militaria, offering a tangible link to the history of the conflict and the equipment used by soldiers on the Western Front.

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
