Silver Caddy – Chester 1904
This antique silver caddy, hallmarked in Chester in 1904, is the work of silversmiths George Nathan & Ridley Hayes. The caddy is beautifully decorated with embossed floral and foliate designs, creating a visually appealing piece. The shaped oval form sits upon four ornate feet, and is topped with a hinged lid and a cast finial. Weighing 660g, this caddy would have been used to store tea, tobacco, or other valuable commodities.
