Description
This is a large Chinese apothecary cabinet, featuring a substantial number of small drawers flanking a central double-door cabinet. The cabinet is constructed from wood with a dark finish, and exhibits a traditional design with clean lines and a slightly curved top. The numerous drawers would have originally held medicinal herbs or other small items, and the cabinet itself would have been a central feature in a traditional Chinese pharmacy or home.
Condition
This cabinet shows signs of age and use, consistent with its antique nature. The finish exhibits wear and some minor imperfections, and some drawers may not slide as smoothly as when new. Despite this, the cabinet remains structurally sound and retains much of its original character, making it a desirable piece for collectors of Asian antiques or those seeking a unique and functional storage solution.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
