Wooden Chocolates by Della Hanging Sign
This oval wooden hanging sign advertises Chocolates by Della, with the words displayed in a painted cream border above and below a bold pink central panel. The brand name Della is set in large cream lettering with a dark brown drop shadow, giving it a strong, eye-catching presence. A pink floral vine runs around the inner edge of the cream border, framing the central panel. The sign is painted in a limited palette of cream, pink and dark brown, and the decorative styling reflects a retro confectionery aesthetic.
Condition and Collector Interest
The painted lettering, pink centre panel and floral border remain clearly defined in the photograph, and the sign is offered as presented. Light surface wear and handling marks are consistent with its age and use, and the overall painted finish reads as original. Signage of this kind, particularly when linked to a named chocolate maker, appeals to collectors of advertising memorabilia and to those furnishing a café, sweet shop or retro-themed interior. Buyers should inspect the piece carefully before bidding, as the condition is described from the photograph and the sign is sold as seen.
