Introduction
This is a reproduction copper powder flask, styled after those used during the American Civil War era. The flask features embossed detailing, including floral motifs and a central shield-like design. It is designed to hold black powder for muzzleloading firearms, and features a spout for controlled dispensing. The flask is a decorative piece intended to evoke the aesthetic of the period.
Condition
This flask shows signs of age and handling, consistent with a reproduction piece. The copper exhibits a patina, and there may be minor imperfections in the embossing. While not an original antique, it is a desirable item for collectors of Civil War memorabilia or those interested in historical reproductions. It would make a fine display piece or addition to a collection.
