Classic Flexible Reading Lamp
This classic flexible reading lamp is an articulated desk light with a black metal frame and a rounded cream base. Its jointed arms allow the dome shade to be angled and positioned over a desk, table or reading surface.
The lamp has black metal arms that join at adjustable pivots, allowing the head to be set at different heights and angles. The dome shade is dark grey to black, with a white interior, and a bulb is fitted beneath it. The round base is cream in colour and carries the mains cable and plug, which are attached to the stand. The design is simple and functional, in the style of traditional task lamps.
Condition and Collectability
This lamp shows general signs of use, including some light surface marking to the shade. The arms and joints appear intact, and the base is in good overall order for its age. A paper label is attached to the base. As a practical example of a classic flexible reading lamp with its original cable and plug, it may appeal to collectors of mid-century and later domestic lighting, as well as to buyers looking for a characterful desk lamp for a study, workshop or reading corner.

We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. #### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
