Classic Motorcycle Swept-Back Exhaust Pipe
This lot is a classic motorcycle swept-back exhaust pipe, offered as a single polished metal tube. The pipe rises from one open end, sweeps through a smooth, continuous curve, and finishes in a second open end that is angled back toward the rear, a profile associated with the swept-back styling of many classic machines. A small flat mounting tab with a drilled hole projects from the lower section of the bend, providing a fixing point for securing the pipe to the frame. No maker’s name is visible on the item.
Condition and Collector Interest
The pipe shows a bright, reflective metal finish along most of its length, with light surface scratches and small areas of discolouration and marking, including a few darker spots near the bend. Both ends appear open and the mounting tab is intact. The condition is consistent with a part that has seen previous use, and its originality cannot be confirmed from the item alone. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
