Colclough Autumn Leaf Pattern Tea Set and Dinner Service
This lot comprises a Colclough tea set and dinner service in the Autumn Leaf pattern. The assembled group includes dinner plates, side plates, bowls, a teapot, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and a number of cups and saucers. The design is typical of the English tableware produced for domestic use in the later twentieth century. Each piece is decorated with a band of stylised leaves and small flowers in tan, gold and grey tones, set against a white ground. The rims are finished with a fine gilt edge, which lends the set a warm, traditional appearance suited to both everyday use and occasional entertaining.
Condition and Collectability
The pieces are presented as a mixed group and show the gilt rims and autumnal leaf decoration expected of this pattern. Condition should be checked on viewing, as no further detail has been established for individual items. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
