Collection of Reading Material Including The Doomsday Book
This lot comprises a mixed collection of hardback books offered as a single item. The titles visible include The Doomsday Book, Graham Hancock’s Underworld, Athens to Athens by David Miller, Mars, and Gulliver’s Travels. Further volumes form part of the lot, with a range of bindings, sizes and subject matter. The selection spans history, travel, sport and popular non-fiction, with a mix of illustrated and text-led titles.
Condition and Collector Interest
The books are offered as a group and are not individually described beyond the titles noted above, so bidders are encouraged to view the lot before bidding. Bindings vary in colour and style, including green, navy, orange and burgundy covers, and some volumes appear to be dust jacketed. Original condition, edition details and completeness have not been verified. Collectors of historical reference works, illustrated non-fiction and mixed reading lots may find this group of interest, particularly for the presence of The Doomsday Book.
