Pair of Garden Planters on Wooden Legs
This lot comprises two garden planters, each with a deep, round bowl and a wide, flat rim. Both appear to be cast in a pale grey, concrete-effect material and stand on three tapering wooden legs. The two planters are of similar form but differ slightly in diameter, with the larger example set a little forward of the smaller one. The raised legs lift each bowl off the ground, which is a practical feature for drainage and airflow. The planters are offered as a pair and are unbranded.
Condition and Collector Interest
The planters show general weathering consistent with outdoor use, including surface discolouration, dirt and mottling across the grey finish. Some minor marks and wear are visible to the inner bowls and rims. The wooden legs show age-related wear and some weathering, and each leg should be checked prior to use. Lots of this type are often sought by buyers restoring or styling a garden, and the pairing of a sturdy cast bowl with timber supports gives them a simple, mid-century-inspired appearance. Buyers should inspect the lot in person to judge its suitability for their own project.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
