A Selection of Five Crystal Decanters with Collar Labels

This lot comprises a selection of five crystal decanters, offered together with two collar labels inscribed “Whisky” and “Brandy”. The group combines four square-bodied decanters with a single taller decanter of differing form, presenting a mixed set suited to the drinks cabinet or the dining table.

Form, Cutting and Notable Features

The four rectangular decanters have straight shoulders and are cut with starburst and fan-style patterns across their faces. Each is fitted with a faceted stopper, with two topped by round, faceted finials and two by cube-shaped stoppers. The fifth decanter has a bulbous body tapering to a narrow neck and is decorated with a pinwheel-type motif and fine geometric cutting around its base. Its pointed, faceted stopper completes the piece. The two collar labels are oval, with floral borders and gilt-style detailing, and are attached to fine chains, each engraved with its spirit name.

The decanters are offered as seen, and no further information regarding their condition has been provided. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
