## A Vintage Military Petrol Lighter and Travel Inkwell Set
This intriguing lot comprises a DGRM military petrol lighter and a corresponding travel inkwell, likely designed for use by soldiers in the field. The lighter features a robust brass construction, with visible markings and a hinged lid. The inkwell, similarly constructed, is designed to fit securely alongside the lighter, offering a practical solution for writing and communication during wartime. Both pieces exhibit a utilitarian aesthetic, reflecting their intended purpose and the conditions under which they would have been used.

## Condition and Collectibility
Both the lighter and inkwell show signs of age and use, with patination and wear consistent with their vintage. While functionality is not assessed, these pieces are highly sought after by collectors of military memorabilia and vintage lighting/writing instruments. The set’s originality and historical context make it a compelling addition to any collection, offering a tangible link to the past and a fascinating glimpse into the lives of those who served.
