Large Collection of Delft Blue China
This is a large lot of blue and white ceramics in the Delft style, offered as a single collection. The assortment includes windmill-themed pieces, miniature wooden clogs, Dutch figures in traditional dress, jugs, a cow-form cream jug, vases, plates, a tankard and a number of small decorative items. Several pieces are marked “Holland”, and the lot reflects the range of souvenir and decorative wares associated with Dutch Delft-style pottery.
Condition and Collector Interest
The lot is presented as a mixed group, and condition varies from piece to piece. Individual items have not been separately described, so prospective buyers are advised to inspect the collection in person or contact the saleroom for further details before bidding. For collectors, the variety of forms, figures and decorative subjects makes this a useful group for building a display, studying Dutch blue and white ceramics, or adding to an existing Delft collection.
