Delta Crompton Electrical Cable on Original Reel
This lot comprises a quantity of white electrical cable wound on a cardboard reel bearing the Delta Crompton name and the legend “Made in U.K.” The reel is lettered in blue and features a large central bore. The cable is wound in tight, even layers, and a loose end protrudes from the lower left of the reel. The cable’s white outer sheath is the principal visible feature, and the reel design reflects the traditional packaging used for supplying cable in bulk.
Condition and Collectability
The cardboard reel shows general wear, including creasing, soiling and marks to its surface, and the edges have softened over time. A white adhesive label to the reel carries a partly legible date and a number. The cable and reel are offered as seen, and no testing or certification has been undertaken. The packaging will be of interest to collectors of trade packaging and British industrial materials, and to buyers seeking reels of white cable for general use.

Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
