Donnay International Golf Bag with Clubs
This lot comprises a Donnay International golf bag with a selection of golf clubs. The bag is of stand-style construction in green and navy, with a navy shoulder strap, a green carrying handle and a zipped front pocket. A golf towel bearing the word GOLF is draped over the top of the bag. The clubs include a number of irons with numbered heads, along with a wood with a wooden-looking head, and a putter. The bag carries partial lettering to one side. The number and full identity of the clubs are not confirmed and should be checked by the buyer before bidding.
Condition and Collectability
The bag shows wear and marks consistent with age and use, including scuffing and general dirt to the exterior panels. The clubs show signs of handling, with wear visible to the heads and shafts. Overall originality appears intact, with the Donnay branding and the mixed set of clubs contributing to the bag’s character. Golf enthusiasts and collectors of vintage sporting equipment may find this lot of interest, particularly as a display piece or for those restoring a classic golf set. Buyers are advised to inspect the lot in person or request further details before bidding.
