A Selection of Dutch Delft Blue Ceramics
This lot offers a selection of blue and white ceramics in the Dutch Delft style, comprising vases, a tankard, candlesticks and further small decorative pieces. The group includes a lidded jar with a small figural finial, a footed vase decorated with a windmill scene, and a mug-form tankard with a loop handle and floral decoration. A green and white candlestick with a shallow drip pan and a small blue and white jug also form part of the lot, together with a trinket dish with a blue floral motif. The pieces display the characteristic hand-painted blue floral and landscape designs associated with Delft-style wares.
Condition and Collectability
The pieces are offered as a mixed group and no maker’s marks are evident, so the lot is catalogued as unbranded. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
