Edwardian O C London Barometer
This striking barometer dates from the Edwardian period and is marked ‘O C London’. The barometer features a silvered dial with a range from 28 to 31 inches, indicating atmospheric pressure. The case is crafted from wood, with decorative detailing and a bevelled glass cover protecting the dial. This barometer would have been a functional and decorative addition to a home or ship during the early 20th century.
Condition and Collector Appeal
This barometer presents signs consistent with age and use. The wood case exhibits some wear and patina, and the silvering on the dial shows some minor discolouration. Despite these characteristics, the barometer retains much of its original charm and character. It would be of interest to collectors of scientific instruments, antique barometers, or those with an appreciation for Edwardian design.

We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
