Vintage Edwardian Style French Mantel Clock
This vintage French mantel clock follows the Edwardian style, with an arched top and a neat, understated case that suits a range of interiors. The clock is housed in a figured wooden case with a fine stringing line running around the front panel and a chevron-patterned inlay band along the base. A brass bezel frames the silvered dial, which carries Arabic numerals and slender hands. Condition and Collector Appeal
The case shows the expected handling and age-related marks, including light surface wear to the wood and some marking to the brass. The dial shows some signs of age, and the back cover has scuffs and tarnish consistent with its years.
