Beatrix Potter 50p Coin Collection
This lot comprises nine 50p coins featuring characters from the beloved Beatrix Potter stories. The collection includes depictions of Peter Rabbit, Benjamin Bunny, and other charming figures from the series. Notably, one coin commemorates the London 2012 Olympic Games, specifically the women’s hockey event, adding a unique element to this set.
Condition and Collectability
These coins appear to be in circulated condition, showing signs of handling and wear consistent with their age and use. Despite this, they remain highly sought after by collectors of British coinage and fans of Beatrix Potter. The inclusion of the Olympic coin further enhances the appeal of this collection, making it a desirable addition for both numismatists and enthusiasts.
