Mixed Box Lot of Elvis Presley Books, Annuals and Football Books
This lot is a mixed box of books centred on Elvis Presley, with a number of football and cookery titles included. Visible titles include Forever Elvis, Quote Unquote Elvis Presley, The Life and Death of Elvis Presley (with 155 photos, many in full colour), and a copy of The Life and Death of Elvis Presley by W.A. Harbinson. There are several Elvis Special and Elvis Monthly Special annuals on show, including editions labelled 1971 and 1980, as well as a title marked Fab 1980 and an all Elvis volume. The football material includes a Guinness Football book and a green-covered title, Play to the Whistle!, by Jim Wiltshire, while The Dairy Book of Family Cookery completes the selection.
Condition and Collector Appeal
Visible wear is consistent with well-used books of this age. Several covers show edge wear, creasing, and marks on the spines and corners, and some of the paperback and annual covers appear faded in places. Only the covers and spines are visible in the photographs, so the internal pages and overall completeness cannot be judged from the images. The Elvis material is likely to appeal to fans collecting period annuals, while the football and cookery titles offer interest to nostalgia collectors and general book buyers.
