Etched Glass Cat Bowl with Silver Plated Forks
This mixed lot brings together a pink-tinted glass bowl decorated with an etched cat design, a clear textured glass bowl with a scalloped rim, and a quantity of silver plated forks. The pink bowl features a cat motif in red tones, with a stylised face, whiskers and a curled tail rendered across its shallow, rounded form. The clear glass bowl has a pebbled surface and a petal-like scalloped edge, giving it a distinctly decorative character. The forks are silver plated and offer a practical, traditional table element that complements the glassware. No maker’s marks or manufacturer details are visible on the items.
Condition and Collector Interest
The glass pieces show no obvious damage, and the pink bowl’s etched decoration is clearly defined. The silver plated forks display light tarnishing and surface wear consistent with age and everyday use. Buyers interested in mid-century or later decorative glassware may appreciate the playful etched cat design, while collectors of vintage flatware may value the forks as a group. The combination of decorative glass and silver plated cutlery makes this lot suitable for table styling, display or a varied collection.
