Vintage Eumig P8 8mm Film Projector in Case
This lot is a vintage Eumig P8 8mm film projector, offered complete with its carrying case. The projector bears the Eumig name and has a cream-finished metal housing with a ribbed side panel for ventilation, a black ribbed top plate, and a chrome-rimmed lens fitted to the front. Control knobs and a sliding switch sit on the body, and a carrying handle is fitted to one side. The projector is housed in a cream, woven-effect case with a lockable catch and a lined interior. A Swedish-language Eumig guarantee card (Garantisedel) is also included with the lot.
Condition and Collector Interest
The projector and case show wear consistent with their age, including marks and light soiling to the case lining. Originality appears good, and the accompanying guarantee card adds to the historical interest of the lot. The operational status of the projector has not been confirmed, so it is offered as viewed. Vintage 8mm projectors such as this Eumig P8 appeal to collectors of cine equipment, film enthusiasts and those who enjoy retro home entertainment.
