Vintage Holy Land Booklet
This charming booklet, titled “Flowers & Views of the Holy Land,” presents a delightful collection of pressed flowers alongside photographic views of significant religious sites. The booklet features black and white photographs of locations such as the Stone of Anction at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the interior of the Church of Agony in Gethsemane, interspersed with pages displaying carefully preserved pressed flowers. The cover is a simple tan colour with a decorative illustration of palm trees and buildings, and the booklet is bound with a simple staple binding.
Condition and Collectibility
This booklet shows signs of age and wear, consistent with its vintage nature. The pages are tanned and delicate, and some flowers show signs of fragility. Despite this, the booklet remains a fascinating and evocative piece of ephemera, offering a glimpse into travel and religious devotion from a bygone era. It would be a wonderful addition to a collection of religious artifacts, vintage travel souvenirs, or pressed flower art.
