Football Memorabilia Collection Featuring Reading and Oxford United

This mixed lot of football memorabilia centres on Reading Football Club and Oxford United. It includes several issues of League Football magazine and Football League Review, along with two Reading FC programmes for Football League Division IV fixtures of the 1977/78 season. These are the match against Swansea and the Friday 24th March 1978 match against Bury, which is priced at 10p. A Reading Football Club souvenir publication, “An official Reading Football Club souvenir of 101 years at Elm Park”, dated Winter 1997, is also present. The Oxford United element is a hardback copy of Oxford United: The Complete Record by Martin Brodetsky in a yellow dust jacket. Further paper items include a sheet headed “Club Talk” and a small yellow printed leaflet, together with an oval-format sepia team photograph.

Condition and Collector Appeal

The printed items show the age and handling expected of ephemera from the 1970s and 1990s, including general wear, creasing and some marking to covers and pages. The condition of each individual item has not been separately assessed, and the lot is offered as described. Club programmes, magazines and local football publications of this period are often sought by collectors of Reading and Oxford United material, and by those interested in Football League history and matchday ephemera.

Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.

#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
