Framed Print of Three Rabbits in Foliage
This lot is a framed print depicting three rabbits sitting among tall grasses, with a sprig of blue bellflowers rising to the left. The subject is set against a pale background, and the rabbits are rendered with soft, delicate shading. The print is housed in a brass-coloured metal frame with a wide mount of orange-brown textured fabric. Inscribed text and a signature appear in pencil in the lower right corner of the print, though the wording is not fully legible.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The frame shows some surface marks and wear consistent with age, and the print has minor marks along its edges. The mount appears to be the original fabric covering, which adds to the piece’s sense of authenticity. The condition of the glazing and the backing has not been examined, so prospective buyers are advised to inspect the lot in person before bidding. Its wildlife subject and decorative framing may appeal to collectors of animal art and to buyers seeking a characterful piece for a home interior.
