Collection of Framed Artworks
This lot comprises a diverse collection of framed prints, engravings, and original artworks. Notable pieces include a unique print titled “M.C.S. II” by Beryl Tilley, dated 2004, featuring abstract figures and musical instruments. There is also a large, panoramic hand-coloured engraving depicting a European landscape with figures and architecture, alongside several smaller landscape watercolours and prints. The collection showcases a variety of styles and subjects, from pastoral scenes to modern abstract art.
Condition and Collector Appeal
The condition of the artworks varies, with some showing signs of age and wear commensurate with their age. Some frames exhibit minor imperfections, such as chips or scratches. However, the artworks themselves generally present well and retain their visual appeal. This mixed lot offers an opportunity for collectors to acquire a range of pieces at a potentially attractive price point, or for those looking to add character and charm to their home décor.
