Framed Race Courses of Britain Horse Racing Print on Fabric
This framed horse racing print on fabric is titled Race Courses of Britain and is attributed to Tony Runyeard. It presents a stylised map of Britain in pale green, with the title in bold red lettering across the top. Racecourses are marked with coloured dots, and a key in the lower left identifies National Hunt, Mixed and Flat venues. Jockeys on horseback are illustrated in several places around the map, including the north-east, the Midlands and the south. The print is set within a green and gold border and housed in a dark wooden frame.
Condition and Collectability
The print is presented in a dark wooden frame with a green and gold mount. A small label is attached to the top right of the mount. Please contact the saleroom for further details of the condition and any wear to the fabric or frame before bidding. As a decorative piece combining British geography with horse racing imagery, it will appeal to racing enthusiasts, collectors of sporting art and those looking for a distinctive wall piece with a regional theme.
