Collection of Framed Wall Art Including Florence Nightingale Plates
This mixed lot comprises five framed pieces of wall art, offered as a single collection. The lot is described as including Florence Nightingale plates, and two ornate oval pieces featuring circular printed scenes are present, each set within a dark, gilded border with decorative gilt corner and base mounts. Their domed designs and classical styling reflect the decorative tastes of earlier periods. The remaining three pieces are rectangular or square framed prints: a botanical study of a pink fuchsia flower in a timber frame with a cream mount, a blue-toned rural scene in a black and gold frame with a layered mount, and a blue tit on a branch set within an oval cut mount in a gold-toned wooden frame.
Condition and Collector Interest
Condition varies across the lot and is not guaranteed. The two gilt-bordered pieces show signs of age and handling, and the timber frame of the botanical print shows some surface marks. Mounts, glazing and backing have not been independently verified, and buyers are advised to inspect the pieces in person or request further details before bidding. The mixed nature of the collection, with its selection of traditional, decorative and botanical subjects, may appeal to collectors of period-style wall art, those furnishing a themed display, or buyers seeking framed prints for interior use.
