Overview

This is a vintage French two-seater parlour sofa, exhibiting classic styling typical of the period. The sofa features a beautifully carved wooden frame, with elegant scroll arms and a decorative crest rail. Upholstered in a striking red and white striped fabric, it offers a bold visual statement and a comfortable seating experience. The frame is raised on cabriole legs, adding to its refined aesthetic.

Condition

This sofa shows signs consistent with age and use, including some wear to the upholstery and minor imperfections to the wooden frame. The fabric displays fading and possible wear commensurate with its age. Despite these points, the sofa retains much of its original charm and character, making it a desirable piece for collectors of vintage furniture or those seeking a unique statement piece for their home.
