Description

This is a beautifully decorated 19th-century French porcelain teapot warmer. The piece features a cylindrical form, adorned with hand-painted floral motifs – roses, forget-me-nots, and other delicate blooms – against a white background. A gilded band accents both the top and base, adding a touch of elegance. This warmer would have been used to keep tea warm at the table, placed over a teapot and often used with a spirit lamp underneath.

Condition

This teapot warmer shows signs consistent with age and use, including some minor wear to the gilding and potential for fine crazing in the glaze.
