Cream Painted Wooden Sideboard with Drawers and Cupboards
This cream painted wooden sideboard is finished in a Frenchic cream paint and offers two frieze drawers above a pair of cupboard doors. The piece has a light timber top with canted front corners, and the carcase is decorated with raised detailing, including a moulded band of scrolled arches above each drawer. Each drawer is fitted with a round brass-effect knob, and the cupboard doors carry raised vertical panel moulding with scrolled terminals. The front is finished with a scalloped lower apron and bracket feet, giving the sideboard a traditional character suited to dining rooms, hallways or living spaces.
Condition and Collectability of the Sideboard
This sideboard shows clear signs of age and use, with visible wear and chipping to the cream paintwork, particularly around the edges, the drawer fronts and the cupboard doors. The light timber top displays scuffs and marks consistent with everyday use. Items are sold on a “sold as seen” basis, electrical items etc are untested unless stated otherwise in the title of the items in question. We have a viewing day on Saturday 10am-3pm if you are unsure about an item from photos. Please be aware that as we are now VAT registered the buyers commission is now 17.5% plus VAT.
#### As of 1/10/2021 we will be implementing a 7 day collection rule – items must be collected within 7 days unless an agreement is arranged in the event of instances such as being away on holiday, medical reasons etc. Any lots that are not collected within 7 days will be liable to a storage charge of £1.20 per day.
