A Full-Length Wall Mirror in an Ornate Gilded Frame
This full-length wall mirror is presented in an antique-style gilded frame with an elaborate scrolled and foliate moulding around the outer edge. A narrower beaded inner moulding frames the glass, which is bevelled along its perimeter. The frame has a warm gold finish and a traditional, decorative character suited to hallways, bedrooms and dressing areas.
Condition and Presentation
The gilt finish and carved moulding appear to be in good order overall, and the frame retains its ornate profile. The bevelled glass is set within the frame and shows the expected reflections for a mirror of this type. As a decorative piece in a traditional style, it may appeal to collectors of gilt mirrors and to buyers looking for a statement piece with a classic look.
