Lot of Galvanised Coal Buckets

This lot comprises three galvanised metal buckets, likely originally intended for coal storage near a fireplace. The largest bucket features a robust handle and a classic, slightly tapered form. The two smaller buckets mirror this design, suggesting they were a set, perhaps for ash removal or carrying smaller amounts of coal. The construction appears solid, indicative of a utilitarian purpose and durable build quality.

Condition and Collectibility

These buckets exhibit signs of age and use, with surface wear and some minor corrosion consistent with their likely history. The galvanisation has weathered, adding to their rustic charm. Collectors of vintage household items or fireplace accessories may find these buckets appealing, as they represent a bygone era of domestic life and offer a tangible connection to the past.
