Pair of Tool Boxes Containing Drill Bits and a Gedore Socket Set
This lot comprises a pair of tool boxes containing drill bits, offered together as a single item. The blue metal case carries the Gedore name and opens to reveal an orange-lined interior holding a range of sockets, a ratchet handle, extension bars and an adaptor. The grey plastic case sits alongside it, with a set of sockets, a ratchet and a row of bits laid out in its moulded tray. The two cases offer practical storage for a mixed selection of hand tools suited to general DIY and workshop use.
Condition and Collectability of the Tool Boxes
The Gedore case shows general wear to its painted finish, with some visible marks and rust spotting around the edges of the lid and hinges. The grey case shows light surface marking, and a sheet of paper lies loose within its lid. Neither the tools nor the cases have been tested, and no further assurances are given as to their function. Buyers interested in vintage German tool brands, or in classic sockets and ratchets from Gedore, may find the blue case of particular interest, while the mixed contents will appeal to DIY enthusiasts looking for a ready-made tool storage solution.
